Healthy Shrimp Salad thumb

Ingredients List:


  • 1 slice of lime

  • 6 oz of shrimps

  • 1 Romaine lettuce

  • ¼ of red onion

  • ½ avocado

  • ¼ cup of green Peas

  • 1 tsp of chopped cilantro

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

  • 1 tbsp of lime juice

  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)

  • ⅛ tbsp of black pepper

  • ⅛ tbsp of salt

  • ½ tsp of dijon mustard




Steps:

  1. Add 2 cups of water and 1 slice of lime to a pot. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. Add 6 oz of shrimps to the boiling water and cover the pot. Remove and drain the shrimps once they are cooked, and set them aside for now.

  3. Cut up some leaves of romaine lettuce into squares and then add them to a mixing bowl.

  4. Slice a quarter of a red onion into strips. Spread them out and add them to the mixing bowl as well.

  5. Dice half of an avocado into cubes and add them to the mixing bowl.

  6. Add a quarter cup of peas, 3.5 oz of the shrimps you've boiled, and 1 tsp of chopped cilantro to the same bowl.

  7. To prepare the dressing, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of lime juice, 1 clove of garlic (minced), ⅛ tbsp of black pepper and salt, and half a tsp of dijon mustard to a smaller mixing bowl. Mix well.

  8. Drizzle the dressing on top of the salad before mixing it.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
