
Healthy Shrimp Salad

Steps:
Ingredients List:
- 1 slice of lime
- 6 oz of shrimps
- 1 Romaine lettuce
- ¼ of red onion
- ½ avocado
- ¼ cup of green Peas
- 1 tsp of chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of lime juice
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)
- ⅛ tbsp of black pepper
- ⅛ tbsp of salt
- ½ tsp of dijon mustard
Steps:
- Add 2 cups of water and 1 slice of lime to a pot. Bring the water to a boil.
- Add 6 oz of shrimps to the boiling water and cover the pot. Remove and drain the shrimps once they are cooked, and set them aside for now.
- Cut up some leaves of romaine lettuce into squares and then add them to a mixing bowl.
- Slice a quarter of a red onion into strips. Spread them out and add them to the mixing bowl as well.
- Dice half of an avocado into cubes and add them to the mixing bowl.
- Add a quarter cup of peas, 3.5 oz of the shrimps you've boiled, and 1 tsp of chopped cilantro to the same bowl.
- To prepare the dressing, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of lime juice, 1 clove of garlic (minced), ⅛ tbsp of black pepper and salt, and half a tsp of dijon mustard to a smaller mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Drizzle the dressing on top of the salad before mixing it.
- Serve and enjoy!
